These terms explain how CertScore.ai may be used and set expectations around lawful use, service limitations, subscriptions, cancellation, acceptable use, and the review-oriented nature of the product.
To cancel a paid subscription, sign in and use the Modify plan page. The logged-in page links to Stripe's secure billing portal for cancellation, invoices, and payment-method updates.
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of CertScore.ai. By using the service, you agree to these terms and to use CertScore.ai only for lawful purposes.
2. Use of the Service
CertScore.ai provides automated scanning of public websites for observable accessibility, privacy, consent, disclosure, and contradiction-related signals. Reports and findings are provided for informational, operational, and review purposes.
3. Public Website Scanning
CertScore.ai is designed to analyze publicly accessible website content using automated systems. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable laws and does not interfere with or abuse third-party websites or services.
4. No Legal Advice Disclaimer
CertScore.ai provides automated website scanning only. CertScore.ai does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or certification.
5. No Guarantee of Compliance
Scan results are informational and should not be relied upon as confirmation of legal compliance. Automated scans may surface observed issues and patterns, but they do not guarantee that any scan captures every relevant issue, page, behavior, or legal implication.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use CertScore.ai to interfere with service operations, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt or degrade third-party websites or services, or use the service for unlawful activity.
7. Plans, Billing, And Automatic Renewal
Paid CertScore.ai plans are subscription services billed through Stripe. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Prices, included scan limits, and plan features are shown on the pricing and modify-plan pages before checkout. You are responsible for keeping payment information current and for reviewing plan limits before purchasing.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription online from the logged-in Modify plan page at certscore.ai/app/modify-plan by selecting Cancel subscription or Manage billing. Cancellation is processed through Stripe's secure billing portal. If cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period, access to paid plan features may continue until that period ends unless Stripe or CertScore.ai indicates otherwise.
9. Refunds And Plan Changes
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where CertScore.ai states otherwise in writing. Plan changes, downgrades, cancellation timing, credits, taxes, invoices, and payment-method updates may be handled by Stripe. If you believe a billing error occurred, contact support through certscore.ai or the contact information listed on this site.
10. Limitation of Liability
CertScore.ai is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertScore.ai and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-interruption damages arising from use of the service.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if the service is used in breach of these terms or in ways that create risk for the platform, other users, or third parties.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the applicable operating jurisdiction of CertScore.ai, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
